What Tampa homeowners say

What we build
Kitchens and baths are most of what we do. Here's the rest.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Tampa?
Most of ours land between $35,000 and $65,000. A cosmetic refresh on an unchanged layout can come in under $25,000. Custom cabinetry, moved plumbing, or removing a wall pushes past $70,000. The estimator on this page will give you a range for your specific project in about 30 seconds.
How much does a bathroom remodel cost?
A powder room starts around $4,000. A guest bath typically runs $11,000 to $19,000. A full master with a custom shower usually lands between $19,000 and $30,000. Finish level moves that number more than square footage does.
Why are you more expensive than the guy who quoted me $22,000?
Usually because his number is missing three lines: the permit, demolition and haul-off, and a real materials allowance instead of a placeholder. Ours shows all three separately so you can compare like with like. Sometimes the cheaper bid is genuinely the right call — but you should know what's in it before you sign.
What permits do I need, and do you handle them?
Kitchen and bath remodels involving plumbing, electrical, or structural work require permits from either the City of Tampa or Hillsborough County depending on where you live. We pull them, schedule the inspections, and the cost appears as a line item in your proposal. Plan review typically takes one to three weeks.
How long will my kitchen be out of commission?
Six to ten weeks for most Tampa kitchens. Ten to sixteen if you've chosen custom cabinetry, since lead times drive the schedule more than the labor does. We'll give you a realistic date before demolition starts, not an optimistic one.
Can I live in my house during the work?
For a single kitchen or bathroom, almost always yes. We'll set up a temporary kitchen and seal the work area. For a full-home remodel with the water off, it's usually easier to move out for part of it. We'll be straight with you about which one you're in.
What happens if you find water damage or something structural?
We stop, photograph it, price it, and bring you a written change order before anyone touches it. No verbal change orders and no surprise invoices. It happens on roughly one in three older Tampa homes, and it's the main reason your final number can move.
Do you charge for the walkthrough?
No. We come out, measure, listen, and give you a real number. If your budget and the project don't line up, we'll tell you that in the driveway rather than after you've spent three weeks waiting on a proposal.
